It could be the motor, the motor cable, the controller, the display, the main harness, the PAS sensor, the throttle, the light harness, the 5 pin plug, the battery or even the charger.
Yes, we have listed most of the electrical components of your bike - but sending them all in one go will make sure we can fix them and no subsequent shipments are required!
Usually, the battery can be easily diagnosed -> Just by plugging the charger - if it won't start charging but the bike works impeccably then most likely you may have a broken battery. However, if the issue persists while the charger is connected to the battery and to the wall and turned on, then the culprit could be everything else. Usually, the motor and controller are most likely but a damaged main harness cable or a short to the lights could give you misleading diagnosis results.
But that is rather irrelevant - you just send all the electronics (battery and charger are optional) and we can take care of everything! We will test every component and make sure everything will work correctly together before sending them back your way.
Once we diagnose the issue, we will reach out back to inform you and should more parts be required a separate payment email will be issued accordingly.
When you ship a defective hub motor - please make sure you include the complete wheel (with partially inflated tires - about 1 bar) - as they will protect the rim and the whole wheel. Proper care needs to be done when packing the wheel, gears, and shafts to prevent any damage to the rim, wheel and shaft. The motor hub shaft is very sharp and extra caution should be taken to prevent damaging the box, shaft or motor cable during the shipping transit! We trust that you do a great packing job, but please be aware that any damages during transit are your and the courier's responsibility - and we don't take any responsibility for any damages during transit, except of course on our packaging side upon return!
Please pay extra attention to the motor cable as it is the one that can get easily damaged during transit. Same for the disk brake rotors and display!
Lots of styrofoam & bubble wrap padding help a lot!

We will collect every weekend from our London address and return the repaired items a week later, then ship them back to your address.
3. Drop the parcel to the shipping courier - or wait for them to come and collect it from your address, depending on the shipping terms of the courier you have chosen.
What's next? Sit back and relax. We will take care of the rest, do the repairs and send you everything in working order.
Of course - this should be common sense, but we want to make it clear that the following (and not limited to) are not subject to warranty coverage - but only on the service repairs we actually touch: battery cells themselves, water damage of any kind, damaged, motor cables, exploded motor/controller plugs and fried / overheated controller/battery/charger etc.
Usually, we return the repaired items within less than a week after we receive them. Battery balancing operations and some other complex interventions could take longer.
